Job Description
Tech Mahindra is looking for an experienced Computer System Validation Engineer to support pharmaceutical and life sciences technology projects at its Chennai delivery center. The role is suitable for professionals who have worked in regulated software environments and understand validation processes within pharma development.
The selected candidate will be responsible for validating software systems, supporting compliance activities, and ensuring applications meet industry regulations such as GxP, FDA, and EMA standards. The position requires close coordination with quality assurance teams, regulatory departments, business stakeholders, and software development teams.
Salary
Estimated Salary: ₹8 LPA – ₹16 LPA (depending on experience, technical expertise, and interview performance)
Job Responsibilities
- Supporting computer system validation activities according to industry standards
- Designing and validating software systems used in regulated life sciences environments
- Working with cross-functional teams including QA, compliance, product management, and regulatory departments
- Preparing validation documents including protocols, reports, and test scripts
- Identifying software issues and supporting troubleshooting activities
- Conducting system testing, risk assessments, and documentation reviews
- Participating in software lifecycle management and validation planning
- Ensuring applications comply with GxP guidelines and pharmaceutical regulations
- Providing user support and training when required
- Supporting implementation of validated systems for pharma development projects
