Job Description
As a Manager – Export Logistics, your daily responsibilities will involve managing export shipments from manufacturing plants to international markets. You will work closely with supply chain teams, freight forwarders, customs officials, airlines, shipping liners, and internal departments to ensure every shipment reaches customers safely and on time.
This position is not just about shipment handling. It is also about maintaining strong coordination between departments, improving operational systems, reducing logistics costs, and supporting business growth through efficient export processes.
The selected candidate will supervise export activities for pharmaceutical dosage forms while ensuring compliance with international shipping standards and regulatory guidelines. You will also monitor air and sea shipment ratios, optimize transportation costs, and support smooth inventory movement across multiple global markets.
The role requires strong communication skills because you will regularly coordinate with internal teams such as quality control, insurance, demand planning, supply planning, and finance departments. - Improve shipment efficiency and optimize container utilization
- Maintain system hygiene through regular sales order and stock transfer cleaning
- Send shipment updates to customers before dispatch timelines
- Ensure zero tax liability and accurate documentation
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and weekly stock analysis reports
- Coordinate monthly stock invoicing and inventory reduction activities
- Monitor cool chain product handling to avoid temperature excursions
