
Job Description
The Operations Assistant (GS-5) role at UNICEF in Jakarta is more than just an administrative job—it’s a chance to be part of meaningful work that supports children and communities every day.

You’ll also support the Deputy Representative (Operations), assisting with schedules, reports, and communication tasks. A key part of your job will involve working with data—tracking performance, maintaining dashboards, and helping the team make better decisions using clear and accurate information. If you enjoy organizing, analyzing, and improving processes, this role will suit you well.
Another important aspect is supporting office systems and security-related tasks. You’ll help maintain records, update important lists, and assist with coordination related to safety procedures. At the same time, you’ll work with different teams across the office, making sure communication flows smoothly and tasks are completed on time.
This role also gives you the opportunity to grow professionally. You’ll be exposed to modern tools like SAP, Power BI, and SharePoint, while learning how global organizations operate. It’s a fast-paced environment, but also one where your efforts truly matter.

Salary
- As per UNICEF GS-5 pay scale (depends on experience and internal structure)
- Estimated range: IDR 10,000,000 – IDR 15,000,000 per month

Requirements
Education:
- Completion of secondary education (Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
Experience:
- Experience in handling office operations and coordination
- Minimum 5 years of administrative or office support experience
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good data handling and reporting ability
- Knowledge of tools like MS Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, SAP (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
