Job Description
HDFC Bank is looking for a Technical Appraiser to support property evaluation for housing and loan approvals. In this role, the candidate will assess the market value of residential or commercial properties offered as loan security. The work involves studying land and building details, checking construction progress, and ensuring that the property meets regulatory requirements.
The selected candidate will regularly visit property sites in the assigned region to verify physical conditions and compare them with submitted plans and documents. Responsibilities also include reviewing building approvals, construction plans, and cost estimates to confirm compliance with local building rules and regulations.
A key part of the role is preparing clear site observation reports and recommending a suitable loan value based on the property’s condition, documentation, and market value. The position also requires maintaining good coordination with customers and channel partners to ensure smooth communication during the loan appraisal process.
Candidates should have strong attention to detail, practical knowledge of civil engineering concepts, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. This position is suitable for both fresh graduates and professionals who want to build a career in property valuation and technical banking operations.
Salary
Approximate salary ranges from ₹3.0 LPA to ₹5.0 LPA, depending on experience, skills, and interview performance. Additional benefits and incentives may be offered as per company policy.

Qualification
B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering
Minimum 60% marks with a consistent academic record
Good communication skills in English
Experience
