
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling the DBEFM category by working across both hyperlocal and marketplace models. Your day-to-day work will involve understanding customer demand, identifying the right partners, and ensuring the platform offers the best product selection at competitive prices.
You will spend a significant amount of time analyzing market trends, competitor strategies, and customer behavior. Based on these insights, you’ll design plans to improve category performance, whether through better pricing, improved product assortment, or stronger vendor partnerships.
A key part of your role will be working closely with vendors and brands. You’ll onboard new partners, negotiate business terms, and ensure that Flipkart remains their preferred platform. Building long-term relationships and maintaining strong communication will be critical to success.
You will also take ownership of promotions and pricing strategies. This includes planning monthly campaigns, aligning with seasonal trends, and ensuring that customers always see value. Balancing growth and profitability will be an important part of your decision-making.
Internally, you’ll collaborate with multiple teams such as supply chain, planning, and operations to ensure product availability and smooth execution. You’ll also be responsible for tracking key performance metrics and continuously improving results.

Salary
- ₹18 LPA – ₹28 LPA (depending on experience and performance)

Requirements
To succeed in this role, here’s what you’ll need:
- 5–7 years of experience in FMCG, e-commerce, or quick commerce
- Experience in vendor management or business development
- Good understanding of fresh or short shelf-life products
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders comfortably
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confidence in making decisions in fast-changing situations
- Experience in pricing, promotions, or category growth is a plus
- Proven track record of delivering measurable results
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
