Job Description
If you’re passionate about climate action, community engagement, and making a real difference on the ground, this opportunity with RISE Foundation could be the right fit for you.
As a Field Officer for the RUMPUN HIJAU project, you’ll play a key role in supporting communities as they navigate the journey toward a just energy transition. This isn’t just a desk job—you’ll be actively working with people, listening to their concerns, and helping turn ideas into meaningful action.
Your day-to-day work will involve coordinating with local partners, supporting workshops, and ensuring that project activities run smoothly at the field level. You’ll help bridge the gap between policy and people by making complex energy transition topics easier to understand and more accessible for communities.
You’ll also contribute to creating safe and inclusive spaces where youth, especially young women, can participate in discussions and advocacy. Through initiatives like Girls4Change, you’ll support efforts that empower voices often underrepresented in decision-making processes.
Beyond coordination, you’ll document project progress, track activities, and assist in reporting—ensuring transparency and accountability. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and team, gaining hands-on experience in development work, project execution, and stakeholder engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with communities, believes in inclusive development, and is ready to adapt in a dynamic field environment. If you value teamwork, communication, and purpose-driven work, this position offers both personal and professional growth.

About the Company RISE Foundation
RISE Foundation is a youth-focused organization dedicated to creating meaningful change by empowering young people and strengthening community voices across Indonesia. At its core, the foundation believes that sustainable development is only possible when communities—especially youth and underrepresented groups—are actively involved in shaping decisions that affect their lives.
The organization works across key areas such as health awareness, gender equality, climate action, and social development. Through its programs, RISE Foundation not only provides access to essential knowledge but also builds the capacity of individuals and communities to take action and lead initiatives on their own.
What makes RISE Foundation stand out is its people-centered approach. Rather than imposing solutions, the team listens, collaborates, and co-creates with communities. This ensures that every initiative is relevant, inclusive, and impactful in the long term.
With projects like RUMPUN HIJAU, the foundation is also contributing to the global conversation around climate justice and energy transition—while keeping local realities at the heart of its work.
