Job Description

If you’re someone who knows how to balance numbers with communication, this role could be a great fit for you. As an Executive – Credit Control (Recovery), your main responsibility will be to ensure that tenant payments are collected on time while maintaining good professional relationships.

Your day will usually start by reviewing tenant aging reports—keeping track of who has paid, who is overdue, and which accounts need immediate attention. You’ll be identifying patterns, spotting high-risk accounts early, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

A big part of your role will involve reaching out to tenants. This includes sending reminders, making follow-up calls, and sometimes having difficult conversations. But it’s not just about chasing payments—you’ll also be expected to understand the tenant’s situation and, where needed, discuss practical repayment plans that work for both sides.

You won’t be working alone. This role requires close coordination with different teams like billing, leasing, operations, and even legal when necessary. Whether it’s checking invoice accuracy or discussing tenant performance, teamwork will be a big part of your daily routine.

There may be times when pressure builds, especially when dealing with overdue accounts, but if you stay organized and keep communication clear, you’ll do well here. This role is ideal for someone who is confident, patient, and able to stay calm while handling sensitive financial matters.

Salary

MYR 36,000 – MYR 60,000 per year (depending on experience and performance)

Requirements

  1. 1–2 years of experience in credit control, debt recovery, or accounts receivable
  2. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  3. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  4. Basic understanding of billing, rental collection, and AR processes
  5. Good communication and negotiation skills
  6. Self-driven and able to work independently under pressure
  7. Ability to handle difficult situations professionally
