Bank Islam Internship Programme – May to August 2026 Intake (General Track)

Job Description:
This internship opportunity is open to students who plan to begin their internship between May and August 2026. If your internship period falls outside these months, please apply through the other internship listings available under the internship programme section.

What You’ll Experience at Bank Islam

• Develop practical skills by participating in real corporate tasks with guidance from supportive supervisors.
• Gain valuable exposure to the Islamic banking industry while working closely with experienced professionals and industry specialists.
• Receive a monthly internship allowance of RM1,000 for the General Track.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Currently enrolled in a recognized university degree programme.
2. Open to Malaysian and international students.
3. Minimum CGPA of 3.00 or equivalent.
4. Minimum internship duration of 8 weeks.
5. It is recommended to mention your preferred department or placement in your resume.
6. Motivated individuals with strong communication skills, able to work well in a team, and actively involved in extracurricular activities.

Important Note

All internships will be based at Menara Bank Islam (HQ Bank Islam), Jalan Perak. Due to BNM regulations, internships are not offered at branch locations to ensure customer data remains protected.
