Job Description

If you’ve ever wanted to work on something truly groundbreaking, this is one of those opportunities that doesn’t come often. At Amazon, the Amazon Leo project is quietly building the future of global connectivity—bringing fast, reliable internet to places that have never had it before.

As a Sr. Tech Business Developer, you won’t just be sitting behind a desk reviewing numbers. Your day-to-day work will involve working closely with different teams—legal, construction, networking, and even government stakeholders. You’ll help decide where ground stations should be built, evaluate potential sites, and negotiate agreements that make those plans possible. Some days will be about deep analysis and planning, while others will involve conversations, negotiations, and problem-solving on the ground.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of strategy and execution. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, handle complex deals, and take ownership of projects from start to finish. It’s not always easy—there will be challenges, regulations, and moving parts—but that’s exactly what makes it exciting.

What makes this role stand out is the impact. You’re not just closing deals—you’re helping connect communities, support businesses, and bring opportunities to regions that need it the most.

  8. Inclusive work environment with global exposure

Requirements

This role isn’t just about qualifications—it’s about mindset and experience.

  3. Strong communication skills—you should be able to explain complex ideas in a simple way
  4. Comfortable working with multiple teams and stakeholders

  6. Ability to think both strategically and practically

About Amazon (Amazon Leo Initiative)

Amazon is known worldwide for transforming how people shop, work, and connect—but behind the scenes, it’s also constantly building the future. One of its most ambitious efforts today is the Amazon Leo initiative, focused on delivering fast, reliable internet through a network of low Earth orbit satellites.

What makes Amazon stand out isn’t just its scale, but its mindset. The company has always believed in thinking long-term and solving problems that others might consider too complex or too risky. Whether it’s e-commerce, cloud computing, or now satellite connectivity, Amazon continues to push boundaries in ways that directly impact everyday life.

In regions like the Middle East and Africa, projects like Amazon Leo are especially meaningful. They aim to bring connectivity to communities that have been left behind, opening doors to education, business, and digital opportunities. It’s not just about technology—it’s about access and inclusion.

Working at Amazon often feels fast-paced and challenging, but also deeply rewarding. Teams are encouraged to take ownership, experiment, and learn from experience. There’s a strong culture of collaboration, where different ideas are valued and people are given the space to grow.

At its core, Amazon is still driven by a simple goal: to make life better and easier for customers—no matter where they are in the world.
