As an Assistant Manager – Copywriter, you will play a key role in shaping how the brand speaks to its customers, partners, and internal teams.

Your day-to-day work will involve creating, editing, and refining a wide range of content—from product brochures and digital campaigns to customer letters and internal documents. The goal is simple: make every message clear, accurate, and aligned with the bank’s voice. You will also handle translation and localisation tasks, ensuring English content is adapted into Bahasa Malaysia in a way that feels natural, culturally relevant, and compliant with financial and Shariah standards.

Beyond writing, you’ll contribute to marketing campaigns that support business goals and strengthen customer engagement. You’ll also assist in preparing executive-level materials such as speeches, statements, and corporate communications, giving you exposure to high-level strategic messaging.

This role requires someone who can juggle multiple projects at once while maintaining attention to detail. You’ll work closely with teams across marketing, compliance, legal, and product to ensure every piece of content meets regulatory requirements and reflects accurate information.

Salary

Requirements

  1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (banking/financial services preferred)
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  3. Strong writing and editing skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  4. Detail-oriented with strong research and analytical skills
  5. Good understanding of financial or banking terminology
  6. Confident working with cross-functional teams
  7. Self-driven and proactive in approach
  8. Able to manage multiple deadlines efficiently
