Job Description

The Ministry of Education is hiring an Executive Secretary to support the Principal in schools located in Abu Dhabi and Al Dhafra. This role is important in helping the school leadership manage daily administrative tasks and maintain smooth communication within the school.

As an Executive Secretary, you will handle the Principal’s daily schedule, organize meetings, and arrange conference calls when required. You will also prepare letters, emails, and official documents on behalf of the Principal. Keeping records organized is a key part of the job, including maintaining files related to staff, students, and school operations.

Another part of the role is preparing documents and information before meetings so the Principal has everything needed in advance. During meetings, you will take notes and record the minutes so that important decisions and discussions are properly documented.

You will also assist in keeping filing systems organized and up to date. This includes handling confidential information carefully and ensuring important documents are stored safely. The position may also require basic research and collecting information requested by the Principal.

Good communication is important because you will often coordinate with teachers, staff members, and other stakeholders to share agendas, documents, and updates. The role suits someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable handling administrative responsibilities in a busy school environment.

Salary

Estimated monthly salary:

AED 8,000 – AED 12,000

The final salary may depend on qualifications and government pay policies.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Nationality: UAE Nationals only
  2. Education: Diploma or minimum two-year degree in fields such as
    • Business Administration
    • Office Management
    • Information Technology
    • Human Resources
    • Office Technology
    • Management Information Systems (MIS)
  3. Experience: Fresh candidates can apply (no previous experience required)
  4. Age Limit: Up to 40 years
  5. Skills:
    • Good English communication skills
    • Basic computer and office software knowledge
    • Organized and able to manage documents and schedules
