Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Ocean Trade Manager to lead and manage the sea freight trade portfolio in Indonesia. In this role, you will take responsibility for developing trade strategies across key import and export routes while ensuring strong relationships with major ocean carriers.
You will oversee pricing strategies, rate negotiations, and cost optimization to maintain strong profitability. The role also involves working closely with sales and operations teams to support customer solutions and competitive pricing proposals.
As a national-level leader, you will monitor corridor performance, manage capacity and demand, and ensure the smooth operation of ocean freight services across the country. You will also collaborate with regional and global teams to align local trade strategies with broader company goals.

Salary
USD 3,500 – 5,000 per month (Approx. IDR 55M – 80M per month)
Salary may vary depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements
1. Minimum 6+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics
2. At least 4 years in a leadership role (trade development, pricing, or carrier sourcing)
3. Strong knowledge of FCL / LCL ocean freight operations
4. Experience working with major international shipping lines
5. Professional English communication skills
6. Experience using CargoWise is preferred
7. Strong negotiation and commercial management skills
