In this position, you will lead the housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring that every corner of the hotel reflects cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail. Your day will involve planning schedules, assigning duties, and making sure your team has everything they need to perform at their best. You won’t just manage people—you’ll support them, guide them, and help them grow through regular feedback and training.
You’ll also take responsibility for maintaining high standards across guest rooms and public areas. From routine inspections to handling special guest requests, your focus will always be on delivering a consistent and memorable experience. Whether it’s preparing rooms for VIP guests or resolving a concern quickly and professionally, your actions will leave a lasting impression.
Behind the scenes, you’ll manage supplies, control costs, and support budgeting efforts. You’ll ensure resources are used wisely while also supporting eco-friendly practices that reduce waste and promote sustainability.
This role also requires strong coordination with other departments, ensuring smooth daily operations throughout the hotel. During busy periods, you may step in to support your team directly, showing leadership by example.

Salary
- Around MYR 5,000 – 9,000 per month

Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of housekeeping/laundry experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Experience in hotel or hospitality industry preferred
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of cleaning standards, safety, and hotel operations
- Fluency in local language (additional languages are a plus)
- Good communication and problem-solving ability
