As a Mortuary Technician, you will be responsible for receiving deceased patients from different hospital departments while carefully verifying identification details to ensure accuracy and maintain proper documentation. You will handle the chain of custody process with precision, ensuring that all procedures follow strict hospital and Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines.

A key part of your role involves maintaining the mortuary facility, including monitoring temperature and humidity levels in cold storage units to ensure safe preservation conditions. You will also carry out cleaning and disinfection procedures using hospital-approved methods, keeping the environment hygienic and safe at all times.

In certain situations, you may assist with high-risk infectious cases, following strict safety protocols such as proper body handling, sealing, and labeling. You may also coordinate with authorities in forensic cases, helping with identification and documentation when required.

Beyond the technical duties, this role requires compassion and professionalism when interacting with families during body release procedures. Your calm and respectful approach will help provide comfort during difficult times.

Salary

  1. Expected Salary: SAR 4,500 – SAR 7,000 per month

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Valid SCFHS (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties) registration
  • Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant healthcare or technical field
  • Basic knowledge of infection control and hygiene standards
  • 0–2 years of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
  • Emotional resilience and professional attitude in sensitive situations
  • Ability to follow strict protocols and maintain documentation accuracy

Language Skills:

  • Arabic: Advanced
  • English: Intermediate
